I was avoiding milk as much as possible from our daily life. but when easyTaaza launched A2 milk, i was quick to subscribe to this & have been enjoying this milk very much. when i discuss about the goodness of milk with my friends, some strongly believed this as hype.

And all I knew was also that A2 milk is good for my children than the normal ones available. why.. how.. I wasn't too informed. i had to read about this & talk to experts on this topic. and this is what i gathered from these discussions.

We have been growing up believing milk is good for our health & should have this from the day of birth to end of life. there were no debates. milk is the 1st thing we started our day with.  it may be in the form of chai, coffee, kanji, malt, direct milk, etc.,  but oflate, too many discussions.. now we talk about pasteurised, organic, A1, A2.. what not. too technical debates for that simple milk we used to enjoy.

Specifically A2 milk has captured attention from both consumers like us and scientists. So, what is A2 milk? quick bullet point tech read
milk has proteins
2 major proteins in milk are casein and whey.
Casein accounts for about 80 percent of the protein in milk.
There are also different types of casein, one of which is called beta-casein.
A1 and A2 are two variants of beta-casein.

So, here is the definition. A2 milk refers to a variety of cow's milk that mostly has beta casein proteins called A2 and lacks a form of beta-casein proteins called A1.
from discussion with experts, i realized - in our good old days cows produced milk that contained only the A2 form of beta-casein. but Today, most of the milk available for us contains mostly A1 proteins. why.. that's a long story. we can deal this later.
So, what's so special about A2 Beta casein protein? A1 and A2 proteins affect the body differently. Since, the structure of A2 protein is more comparable to human breast milk, as well as milk from goats, sheep, and buffalo. A2 does more good to us & is good for all age
A1 dominating milk can cause stomach discomfort, such as gas, bloating,diarrhea and many other sickness and lifestyle diseases which cannot be identified & attributed to milk as reason. A1 can be the trigger point.

A2 milk is soft on digestion & does more good for our health. however, A2 milk still contains lactose and milk protein, so it is not appropriate for people with lactose intolerance, galactosemia, or a milk allergy.
